Xavier Perez Shooting: 27-Year-Old Man Died in Tragic Incident During Violent Encounter at Basketball Court
The man who was shot and killed early Friday morning while leaving a South Side basketball court has been identified. The shooting happened just after midnight at Brooks Inner-City Sports on Topeka Boulevard near Interstate 37. Xavier Perez, 27, was shot several times while he was in the parking lot. Numerous shell casings were found at the scene.
